Supply Chain/Warehouse Systems professional

Your role: The Supply Chain/Warehouse System Professional will be an integral part of the SC/Warehouse Department at any exciting time for the business as we work to completely transform our business processes. The appointee will liaise with Global and Local site personnel to implement the SAPNext warehousing (Enhanced Warehouse Management – EWM) and Transport Management (TM) modules at the site.  Full training will be provided. This will be a contract position for the duration of 15 months.

 

Key Responsibilities:

·  Act as the point of contact and manage the EWM and TM streams as part of the SAP Project for the site (ERP system change)
·  Map out all EWM and TM end-to-end processes that occur on site
·  Master data cleansing for all EWM and TM processes
·  Scope any hardware requirements for the future warehouse process
·  Act as SME for users and authorizations for EWM and TM
·  Complete risk assessment for the change of ERP system on EWM and TM
·  Provide knowledge and expertise in local processes to the global SAP team
·  Participant in the development of new EWM and TM processes and give feedback along with executing relevant test scopes
·  Train end users on site and act as system SME on EWM and TM processes in SAP
·  Prepare and monitor execution of cutover plan for the relevant stream
·  Process incidents and monitor usability after go live, raising issues as needed
·  Proactively highlight any challenges to the SAP Site Manager and/or Operations Manager
·  Be the site SME for warehouse/SC functions on SAP Next
·  Work to improve warehousing process where possible
·  Work on change management activities in the warehouse with the introduction of SAP next

 

 Who you are:

·  Level 8 Degree and APICS qualification is desirable.
·  Significant experience in the regulated cGMP pharmaceutical industry.
·  Must be technology-focused and experienced working with ERP System application software.
·  Previous use of SAP highly desirable.
·  Ability to multi-task, manage and prioritise time effectively.
·  Detailed orientated.
·  Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a cross functional team
