SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY:

 

The Graphic and Web designer will support company projects by providing creative visual design work and maintain our internal website (SharePoint). The Graphic and Web designer position collaborates with all the life science businesses to meet the needs of internal customers. He/She should have the ability to handle projects from concept to completion individually/with team and develop creative work and develop the intranet site content.

 

 

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

 

The Graphic and Web designer will create visually engaging and functional graphics for our intranet website (SharePoint). This role will respond to requests from colleagues at all levels of the organization globally, clearly communicate the details of projects within their workflows to aid with the brand and eva complaint practices on the intranet site. Implement on project needs and translate the information into effective, on-brand designs and layout on the intranet site to meet project goals.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

·  Very Creative, keen eye for detail, knowledge of latest design trends
·  Worked in a design agency or corporate
·  Experienced in working on Digital creatives
·  Good communication skills
·  Education in Visual Communication Design is an advantage
·  Creates assets, banners, and other digital collateral.
·  Creates final optimized assets including images and HTML ensuring that all materials meet current corporate graphic standards.
·  Create Graphics and enhance the intranet site with html and css (SharePoint)
·  Research New trends & Ideas and Best practices
·  Deliver High quality brand compliant visual content as per Content requirement and visually enhance the site with codes.

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

 

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field

 

Experience:

·  Web Design: 3-5 years (Preferred)
·  Total work: 3-5 years (Preferred)
·  Design: 3-5 years (Preferred)

 

Technical Skills / Competencies:

                                                                                                            

·  Knowledge of HTML coding and CSS
·  SharePoint development knowledge is an added advantage
·  Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
·  Good aesthetic Sense, sense of layout, Fonts and colors
·  Worked for e-commerce companies or digital branding and communications Agency
·  Proficiency with MS Office365 and online collaborative software
·  Proficiency with Mac and PC platforms
·  Strong conceptual and strategic thinking skills
·  Resourcefulness coupled with great problem-solving skills, both on your own and as part of a team 
·  Detail oriented
·  Excellent verbal and written communication skills
·  Ability to perform well in both individual and team environments
·  Self-managing, deadline driven
·  Exhibits a positive attitude, strong work ethic, neatness, and punctuality.
