Your Role:

EMD Serono is seeking a Senior Specialist, Internal Communications to provide support for its internal communications efforts. Are you passionate about employee communications? Based at our US headquarters in Rockland, Massachusetts, the Senior Specialist, Internal Communications will utilize his/her experience within the healthcare industry to create engaging internal communications strategies and programs. The Senior Specialist will drive a robust and consistent cadence of content that amplifies our mission, purpose, strategy and culture. 

 

Responsibilities:

·  Develop and implement company-wide internal communication strategies and programs that engage, inspire, and align employees with EMD Serono’s mission, purpose, strategy and culture.
·  Oversee content development and production of Town Halls, lunch ‘n learns and other employee communication efforts
·  Serve as core member of Annual Kick-Off meeting team
·  Provide communications support for the annual President’s Awards
·  Support the development of communications for ongoing Diversity & Inclusion programs in North America
·  Support roll-out of Employee Engagement Survey, including results and communication of actions driven by results
·  Serve as point person for local CSR activity coordination (e.g., Community Service Day), management of SPARK portal
·  General support for cross-sector communications needs
·  General support for COVID-19 communications
·  Keeper of internal and external corporate milestone calendar, ensuring synergies and efficiencies for communication support
·  Oversight of all-employee print, email, intranet (EVA) optimization/content, LCD screen content
·  Oversight of vendor support for graphic and video/audio design needs
·  Support prioritized facility communications requests for Billerica and Rockland offices

 

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:

·  Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, or other discipline with 3+ years’ experience in a communications, meetings, or events role

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

·  3+ years of experience in communications or meetings and events roles preferably within the healthcare/biopharma industry
·  Keen eye for detail, excellent writer, proven expertise in multi-tasking
·  Ability to interact with senior management in a matrix organization
·  Business-fluent communication skills, both verbal and written
