Your role:

In Research North America, we are establishing a new Sales Development program with two goals - first, qualifying inbound leads to develop our opportunity pipeline and second, identifying new potential customers and qualified sales opportunities using outbound marketing. The Manager of the Sales Development Team will establish the new function and scale the Sales Development team.  Working closely with partners within the Sales and Marketing teams, the SDR Manager will establish the vision and strategy for the team in alignment with the Research North America Sales strategy. Travel approx. 10%. Responsibilities include:

· 
·  Recruit, hire and train Sales Development Representatives – both inbound Lead Qualification SDRs and outbound Lead Generation SDRs
·  Define and execute SDR team vision, ensuring alignment to the Research North America strategy
·  Working closely with Commercial Marketing and Sales Leadership, define tactical plan for sales plays and campaign execution
·  Drive execution through rigorous metrics and forecast management - Achieve weekly/monthly targets for customer contacts, qualified leads, and setting meetings
·  Ensure adoption and effective use of technology stack tools including Salesforce.com, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Eloqua
·  Coach SDRs on digital selling skills, strategy execution, and quota attainment

 

Who you are:

Minimum Qualifications:

· 
·  3+ years of experience leading a sales or marketing team
·  Bachelor’s degree in life science, marketing, or business required

 

Preferred Qualifications:

· 
·  Previous experiencing scaling a new sales function preferred
·  Expertise in multiple technology stack tools including SFDC.com, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Eloqua
·  Demonstrated experience in meeting/exceeding sales metrics preferably with a business to business sales background
·  General understanding of the Life Science Research market and customer profiles
·  Sales competency with particular emphasis on digital and social selling skills
·  Strong written and verbal communication skills
·  Strong coaching ability and track record of developing talent
·  Strong analytical ability, data driven with digital technology acumen
·  Ability to work in a time-sensitive and high-volume environment
·  Strong cross-functional collaborator
