Your Role: we have an exciting opportunity for a talented Quality Supervisor to join our Quality Team in Glasgow. In this role, you will promote and integrate quality and regulatory compliance into every aspect of our business, to ensure our company is operating in full compliance with sound scientific practice, meeting all GxP and standard operating procedures. Responsibilities of the role involve the development and maintenance of the quality system and the line management of Quality Specialists within our Flex Team; ensuring the regulatory compliance of the company by reviewing and approving all types of company QMS documentation, including Events (Deviations and Out of Specifications), CAPAs, Investigations, Change control, Effectiveness checks, Risk Assessments, Validations, Material disposition, Complaints and Quality Agreements; proactively work with Operational Groups to make improvements to documentation and / or compliance on audit findings. This role will be based out of our Glasgow site, with some travel between our other sites i.e. Edinburgh and Stirling. Working flexibly (around start and end of shift & weekends, as required) to support business or client needs would also be part of this role.

 

Who you are:

·  Must have a Degree or equivalent in Biological Science or Quality Management
·  Demonstrable, competent experience of working in Quality Assurance or related field within a GxP regulated environment is essential
·  Knowledge and application of FDA and EU regulations (cGMP, GLP, Part 11, Data Integrity) would be highly desirable
·  Excellent attention to detail is essential as well as logical in thought, along with the ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment
·  Excellent oral and written communication skills and an advanced working knowledge of good documentation practices
·  Ability to set own work schedules to manage time and prioritise workload effectively, challenging unrealistic deadlines and ability to influence decisions.
·  Working knowledge of continuous improvement tools and methodology
