Job description



PIS Operator

·  Participate the construction, commissioning, installation qualification, operational qualification of PIS plant with the engineering team. Report to PIS supervisor for the execution of performance qualification and process validation of PIS plant with the support from giving site experts, tech transfer team and supply chain production planning.
·  Assure compliance to all Merck and China authorities EHS requirements, regulations. Understand, follow and promote Merck safety practices. Continuously enhance safety awareness and improve plant effectiveness in EHS with the philosophy that every incident is preventable.
·  By given training and self-study, learn Merck production process, operation procedures, ensures that established production procedures and instructions are followed. Ensures quality and safety standards are met. Ensures that work area is clean, secure, and well maintained. Timely feedback to supervisor if production policies and procedures need an update. Finishes all necessary paper work and reporting guided by PIS supervisor.
·  Implement tasks with being closely instructed by supervisor. This work may include, material unloading/charging, operating valves, pumps, filling to bagging machine, housekeeping etc.
·  Receive training from giving site, assist supervisor to prepare new SOPs and checklist in Chinese.
·  Follow ISO9001 requirements after it launches, Support to acquire the group ISO9001 certificate within the scope of PIS production
·  Support PIS production supervisor for site emergency case exercise in the scope of PIS production
·  Coach and enhance the skill level of PIS new operators.
