Manufacturing Supervisor

Your Role:

 

The Manufacturing Supervisor will organize and direct the work of technicians involved in production and packaging of related products in both an office environment and laboratory setting. Initiate and lead process improvements within assigned areas including but not limited to manufacturing design, development, test, and product change activities. Arrange workload as directed by production requirements. Prepare purchase requisitions as necessary.

Supervise the training of technicians in the proper handling and manufacturing procedures and techniques. Administer company personnel policies and procedures.

Maintain and implement safe laboratory procedures. Maintain a favorable company image to all employees and customers. Maintain accurate production records regarding materials, timing, and packaging. Initiate, lead, and document process improvement activities.

 

Who You Are:

 

Basic Qualifications:

·  Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Engineering or related discipline  
·  3+ years of technical experience in manufacturing or production in life sciences

 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

·  Previous supervisory experience highly preferred. 
·  Effectively express ideas using verbal and written communications.
·  Supervise the work of others
·  Operate all related lab equipment and apparatus. 
·  Knowledge of safe laboratory procedures
·  Thorough knowledge of products and processes in assigned areas.
·  Knowledge of process improvement principles
·  Strong PC skills
