Your Role:
The GDT Product Costing Analyst is responsible for working closely with both internal and external customers and stakeholders to ensure the best value is identified and realized from the products and services provided by the CCM operations and that variances are minimized, contributing to the overall business unit financial goals and targets.

 

·  Generate and provide product pricing guidance for CCM products, customer projects, customer requests, marketing analysis and site initiatives for products manufactured and supplied from the CCM sites utilizing developed pricing matrices and procedures.
·  Support product specific costing analysis, sales questionnaires and troubleshooting of pricing issues. Collaborate with Sales and Marketing on new pricing strategies and updating / maintaining existing matrices and procedure. 
·  Evaluate, perform time studies and initiate updates to relevant cost structures for new and/or modified manufacturing processes. 
·  Liaise with Site Controlling to resolve price variances and investigate errors within the MRP system. 
·  Collaborate with Procurement and Sourcing functions on raw material costs and work to reduce or eliminate variances. 
·  Collaborate across sites / regions and with the CCM Design Program Management function to ensure processes remain harmonized and improvements are employed globally. 
·  Provide business and data analysis / reporting for the Global Design Team (GDT) that will enable strategic discussions on business drivers such as resource allocation, new services and capabilities from ImMEDIAte Advantage (IA) and Media Stability and Testing Services (MSTS), CCM site capital expenditure, profitability, and other relevant business processes.

 

 

Who You Are:

 

Minimum Qualifications:

·  Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or Science/Engineering
·  5+ years of experience in business and process analysis, product costing and/or manufacturing accounting
·  3+ years of experience working with business and manufacturing systems / ERP experience, with SAP, BPCS and/or SafesForce.com (SFDC)

 

Preferred Qualifications:

·  Experience with manufacturing, packaging or testing processes in a GMP environment
·  Experience with composing professional letters, memos and reports
·  Familiarity with Operational Excellence, Lean, and Six Sigma tools and concepts
·  Equivalent combination of education and experience
·  Able to analyze financial data sets and make technical recommendations based on data and knowledge of financial, accounting, and manufacturing principles
·  Practical understanding software tools such as MS Office Suite, MRP systems, statistical / financial reporting, and electronic document systems
·  Excellent organizational and time management skills.  Must be able to work under pressure to achieve timelines
·  Strong interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written skills. Demonstrated effectiveness in written and verbal communication with all levels in a global organization
·  Self-motivated and able to complete tasks and projects with minimal direction
·  Practical knowledge of manufacturing systems and GMP / regulated environments
