Your Role:

The Customer Excellence Project Specialist role in Lenexa, KS will lead and assume ownership of the entire order fulfillment process for the global SAFC, Process Solutions, and Applied Markets supply chain (customer, order processing, production, purchasing, QC, QA, packaging, distribution, customer). The Customer Excellence Project Specialist will also be responsible for:

·  Developing and using supply chain management strategies and practices to ensure timely, on-quantity, and on-quality customer delivery of products and services with timely Customer Communication
·  Provide delivery timetables to manufacturing customers globally for out-of-stock products
·  Challenge global operations to meet customer delivery needs
·  identify and eliminate complex barriers
·  improve OTIF delivery performance and achieve Customer satisfaction

 

Who You Are:

 

Minimum Qualifications:

·  High school diploma or GED
·  5+ years of customer service experience

OR

·  Bachelor’s Degree
·  1+ years of customer service experience

 

 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

·  Previous supply chain or project management experience
·  Extensive Customer Service experience, previous knowledge of SAP/SFDC
·  Ability to build spreadsheets, formulas, and charts in Microsoft Excel
·  Strong problem identification and resolution skills
·  Knowledge of Customer Service, Quality Control, Packaging, Inventory planning or Manufacturing processes, Shipping (domestic and international), Accounting (basic principles of costing, profits, and margins for our business)
·  Ability to interpret customer needs and communicate effectively across diverse workgroups
·  Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy with customer requirements
·  Knowledge and understanding of cGMP and other relevant quality systems
·  Experience developing a strong working relationship with key SAFC and Applied customers and Customer Excellence team members
·  Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate at all levels and work as a team
·  Capable of working in a fast-paced environment and the ability to adapt to changing processes/systems
·  Detailed with strong analytical skills
