Your Role:

At EMD Serono, our US based Global Regulatory Affairs and R&D Quality Team is Growing!  This busy, dynamic team is looking for an assistant to support the Billerica-based senior leaders as well as be a helpful, knowledgeable resource to the broader group.   Using his/her breadth of professional experience, positive spirit and solution-oriented mindset, the Administrative Coordinator will utilize networking and collaboration to deliver on our common purpose.

Responsibilities:

·  Manage & lead administrative activities for US based Regulatory Leaders Team Members:
·  Calendar Management
·  Coordination of internal and external meetings including - preparatory activities (invitations, agenda development, consolidation of presentations), logistics planning & coordination
·  Travel Arrangements, both international and domestic
·  New hire preparations
·  Expense reporting 
·  Maintain SAP system for invoice processing and purchase requisition preparations
·  Space planning, as needed
·  Understand the scope and content of ongoing leadership initiatives to provide proactive support to include:
·  Meeting agenda development
·  Key message summaries
·  Presentation design and development
·  Newsletter formatting and content creation
·  Serve as back-up resource for the Rockland-based GRA/RDQ teams, as needed.  May assist remotely with any Health Authority inspection in Rockland

 

Who you are: 

Minimum Qualifications:

·  Bachelor’s degree in Science, Business or Liberal Arts discipline or Associate’s degree in Science, Business or Liberal Arts discipline with 1+ years’ experience as a support professional in an office environment or HSD with 5+ years’ experience as a support professional in an office environment

 

Preferred Qualifications:

·  Pharmaceutical industry experience (ideally regulatory affairs)
·  Experience working with a diverse, geographically dispersed global team
·  Ability to work in a high-volume environment handling multiple tasks
·  Demonstrated experience working MS Office Suite including, Teams & SharePoint
·  Working knowledge of SAP
·  Willingness to take on responsibility in a proactive, solution-oriented manner
·  Attention to detail and follow-through
·  Proven experience and examples of developing and maintaining relationships across functions
·  Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
·  Other languages an asset
·  Flexibility with work schedule in order to accommodate the varying volume of work and requests
