Job description

We are currently expanding our injection molding operations and we now have 2 Focus Factories: Containers and Syringes. This Manufacturing Associate position is responsible for Preparing, packaging and inspecting product produced in an Injection Molding Machine. Ensurethat the product meets quality specifications and is done in a safe and efficient manner.

· Maintain a clean and safe work area and report any unsafe working conditions immediately.
· Ability to read, speak, write and understand English.
· Read, understand, and follow the approved Work Instruction Sheet on a daily basis for each job they are to perform.
· Identify acceptable and non-acceptable product in accordance with the Quality policy.
· Communicate to appropriate personnel any unusual operating conditions or unacceptable product quality.
· Pack, label, and palletize product correctly according to the Work Instruction Sheet.
· Follow company policies.
· Follow the Principles of cGMP.
· Follow all written procedures as appropriate.
· Work independently from verbal and/or written instructions from Supervisor and Lead.
· Support a team based environment by actively participating on teams and offering suggestions for improvement.
· Must be able to communicate in verbal or written form.
· Appropriately document all required paperwork.
· Ability to lift up to 45lbs with repetitive movements.
· Perform and document quality inspection per GMP and Work Instruction Sheet requirements.
· Use and interpret gauges and inspection devices.
· Read and interpret measuring devices.
· Maintain and account for tools and equipment necessary for the job.
· Ability to follow 6S guidelines
· Support and sustain QIP initiatives.
· Perform and document inspections per work instruction sheet, on device history sheet record, and work instruction sheet tables.
