Your Profile

·  Being a pure team player and love having freedom while being entrusted with responsibilities 
·  A clear understanding of the importance of user-centered design and a trained eye for UX & UI details 
·  SPAs are your first choice, when it comes to developing applications with React and most current JavaScript standards (ES6/ES7) 
·  Accessibility, performance and testing are not just buzzwords for you 
·  HTML5 and CSS are so simple, you sometimes mistakenly sign documents using div 
·  To improve the quality of your application, you like to use Typescript and also test every line of code written 
·  Being familiar with the concept of GraphQL 
·  Nice to have: Experience with headless content management systems e.g. Contentful 
·  It will be very good if you have knowledge of SEO.
·  Because you are interested in the whole lifecycle of an application, the practices of Continuous Delivery and (Cloud-) infrastructure are well known to you and you love applying these micro services 

Your Tasks

These are the main tasks:

·  Integrating our graphical user interfaces with the backend service landscape 
·  Taking a key role in understanding, developing, and supporting requirements of the product owner 
·  Working closely with product owner, UX- and frontend engineers on scalable frontend solutions for customer-facing components and pages across the web shop 
·  With your strong UI/UX focus, supporting the design of our frontends 
·  Caring for the refactoring of legacy systems and their migration path to modern architectures 
·  Being an ambassador for consistency, usability, and accessibility of our product interfaces

We are looking for an Senior FrontEnd Software Engineer (m/f/d) to join the Consumer Web department, specifically, the Product Detail Page (PDP) team . The product detail page (PDP) provides the user with a complete overview of a specific product. For better purchase decision support, product images, price, availability, description, technical data, ratings, accessories, etc. are displayed. The user can discover the product, choose a seller, order it or put it on the wishlist. In addition to that the user can read and write product reviews. The PDP is one of the most visited pages in the entire online shop and provides the user with a complete overview of a product. For the company, this is an opportunity to motivate the customer to make a purchase decision and generate upsells.
