QFS Technologist – Castle Cary

Salary : Starting from £ 30,545 with excellent benefits

The purpose of this job is to support the implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of the site Quality Management System, and to manage initiatives that will ensure the site is fully complaint to all global Quality and Food Safety standards. To act as an expert in Quality and Food Safety standards and processes, providing technical support across functions and operations.

We’ve identified four key responsibilities for this role:

·  Engaging and training of associates from all functions in the importance and operation of the site Quality Management System
·  Gap assessment to support the creation of a clear roadmap to full compliance to all global Q&FS standards and provide status updates
·  Manage projects designed to gain/maintain internal and external compliance, and accreditation to selected external Q&FS-related standards
·  Support and facilitate risk assessment and risk management activities across operations and functions, including change management, troubleshooting and incident management
·  Support and manage projects and activities across functional boundaries
