Mars Petcare is looking for a Project Warehouse Management Systems Analyst to work in Franklin, TN.

Purpose of Role
The project warehouse management systems analyst role is the key interface between the Customer Centric Network project team and the Petcare Supply Chain FE team. The role is primarily responsible for:
• Integrating the new RDC locations project timeline with the JDA WMS upgrade timeline
• supporting new location WMS startup
o gathering new building requirements
o ensuring adequate hardware for operational setup (volume, building layout)
o supporting new 3PL key user training and onboarding
• Ensuring ‘one truck, one invoice’ capability is developed in the JDA WMS upgrade
• Training and documenting any new WMS work processes related to full product mixing
This role is expected to develop collaborative solutions through a strong understanding of our systems, processes, and continuous improvement practices.

The WMS analyst has training and support responsibilities to RDC 3PL Key Users and End Users.

Principal Accountabilities

• Train and develop a new location Key User community to support End Users in operational startup
• Provide hands-on functional and technical support to the Key Users and other stakeholders
• Ensure good business process knowledge, methodology, integration, and consistency in each location startup
• Ensure all business processes are documented and current with clear accountability for process execution at startup
• Build and develop relationships with regional and global communities
• Present project requests to the local FE team, and Global Template community if necessary, for consideration and prioritization
• As needed, represent project details in the global Mars community.
• Be involved in Mars business systems support related requests as they relate to project startup (for business users), system testing and managing applicable CIP’s (Continuous Improvement Projects)
• Sign-off of new processes and software releases on behalf of the project team
• Cross-train and educate other project resources in own area of expertise

Critical Functional Competencies
• Expertise and experience in warehouse management systems (structure, data flows, etc)
• Expertise and experience in US Petcare processes, IT systems, products and operations
• Skilled at developing process maps, process instructions, and user-friendly Job Aids
• Analytical Capability
• Excellent organizational skills. A self- motivator; able to work independently and the ability to prioritize effectively
• Business Process Application

• Strong communication skills – written and verbal

• Proficient with Microsoft Office system(s). Strong Excel skills.
• Advanced knowledge of Logistics/Warehouse Management business processes and broad business understanding
• Working knowledge/understanding of Mars supply chain systems (e.g. SAP, EDI, Supplier Managed Supply, GRD, etc.)

Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree
• Project management experience
• 3-5 years of business experience in relevant function in a WMS system -JDA or Red Prairie or the equivalent.
• Demonstrated ability to influence adoption of a significant recommendation involving business process changes and/or new system applications.
• Ability to present to small groups
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong analytical skills
• Highly-proficient in Excel.
• Well-developed problem solving skills

Preferred Qualifications
• SAP experience preferred
• Exposure to consumer packaged goods industry preferred
