Job Summary

The Project Management Commercialization Analyst is accountable for the successful delivery of Activities.

Activities include packaging innovation, new packs & sizes, consumer franchise building (CFB), limited editions, price value (PVR), sales samples, on-pack promotions and merchandising vehicles (pre-pack tools).

The Project Management Commercialization Analyst must define, manage and implement the activity, resolve cross functional issues, early identification of issues based on leading indicators, ensure decisions are made and actions are taken, identify and communicate risks and adhere to the business and gate process (Charter through to ER).

The Project Management Commercialization Analyst is responsible for facilitating issue identification, alternatives and recommendations. The Activity Manager will also provide consultation on rationalization and support/maintenance activities.

The Project Management Commercialization Analyst helps support end-to-end planning process of the organization.

Key Accountabilities

Project Management from Stage Gate approvals to In Market execution

1. Set up, Define and Plan Activities

·  Collaborate with Brand and Customer Marketing to define necessary documents for Stage Gate approvals (i.e. Charter-AB-ER). Coordinate the development of project timelines, identify and agree key decision points and issues.

2. Lead & support through Stage Gate approvals

·  Set up Activity Teams (AT) with all key functions, and agree activity objectives and deliverables to drive Stage Gate submissions & approvals. Coordinate the development of project timelines, identify and agree key decision points and issues.

3. Post ER execution into the market

·  Set up and chair meetings, resolve cross-functional issues and agree actions arising, follow up on actions, define and report on milestones. Keep team members fully updated on progress of the activity and ensure inputs from all functions are on time and as required. Identify critical decisions and ensure full sign-on to agreed solutions. Ensure that the project plan is developed and all members of the AT sign on to it. Project manage to the final launch and review of the activity.

4. Supports Activity Manager with AMT

·  Supports Activity Manager with AMT stage approval within the S&OP+ PMR process. Recommends to S&OP Director when a project meets AMT Decafe criteria

Decision Making Authority

·  Whether project recommendations contain all required information to be circulated for approval.
·  Whether project timelines are deliverable and realistic
·  What issues need to be surfaced at AMT or PMR for resolution.

Recommendations

·  The Project Management Commercialization Analyst will support system and process improvements to help deliver best in class end-to-end planning

Other:

·  All other duties and responsibilities as assigned
·  Responsible for following all Quality and Food Safety Policies and applicable procedures

Key Technical Knowledge and Skills

·  Undergraduate Degree in Technical Field/Project Management
·  Undergraduate Degree in Business related field
·  Relevant Mars experience in place of degree will be considered.
