BASIC PURPOSE

The position will manage the inbound supply chain of several critical cocoa raw materials – Cocoa Beans, White Chocolate. This role is responsible to work with internal and external stakeholders to create supply chain plans to ensure continued quality supply of material. This role will also be responsible for partnering with stakeholders to manage the cocoa certification program.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Execute the In-bound Cocoa Supply Chain Strategy to achieve World Class In-bound Supply Chain.

Utilize the Lean / Six Sigma Process to analyze, develop and execute the Operational Strategy to ensure the direct materials sustainable supply to meet the business needs

Work closely with R&D and Supply Divisions to identify, develop, and maximize the cost reduction opportunities through developing productivity pipeline

Partners closely with Strategic Sourcing Managers to align on the category sourcing strategy. Develops operational execution plan for these strategies, including, but not limited to, qualification of new material, new suppliers within manufacturing; new supplier on-boarding, measure and manage supplier performance, inventory level setting and inventory transition plans to minimize cost to the business. Lead the risk mitigation plan for the inbound supply chain to ensure the competitive and sustainable supply and meet the Company sustainability objective

Responsible for the support of all new product launches, line extensions, and execution of continuous improvement programs as it relates to direct materials. This includes leading the procurement new material introduction process, working closely with sourcing, R&D, supply chain, and factory procurement to commercialize all new packaging and ingredient materials to the factory.

Work closely with Supplier Quality Assurance to ensure the suppliers to meet the Quality Standard and mitigate potential supplier quality and food safety issues.

DECISION MAKING AUTHORITY, RECOMMENDATIONS AND IMPACT

Negotiate, construct and implement the Operational Strategy for North America Supply Chain and ensure the strategy and execution plan to be aligned at engaged matter with the internal and external stakeholders

Responsible for develop the supply risk mitigation plan and ensure 0% food safety related issue.

Accountable and Responsible for financial KPI (Working Capital etc)

Accountable and Responsible for developing the SOP( Standard Operational Process) to systemize the Supply Risk Mitigation process

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Training

Minimum: Bachelor's Degree required. Area of study should include Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics and Finance

Related Experience/Requirements:

Minimum:

1-3 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, Project Management in a progressive environment.

Knowledge of Finance data analysis

Solid experiences on supplier scorecards/performance models, continuous improvement programs and supplier relationship management.

Preferred:

Preferred: 3+ years of experience in supply chain/business operations for direct category

Lean / Six Sigma project execution experiences. Experience in SAP or other ERP systems is a plus

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Minimum: Strong alignment skills with the ability to communicate vision and gain alignment with internal stakeholders both internally and externally

Strong analytical skills, with thought leadership that drives strategy and execution

Strong project management skills;

Sound interpersonal skills enabling the incumbent to work effectively within cross-functional teams

Solid Computer Skills, experience to use the Excel or database analyze the data is a plus.
