Purpose of Role:

This role operates within a fast-paced environments. The primary responsibility for this position is to perform all functions associated with the shipping and receiving department including, but not limited to:

· Loading / Unloading of trucks, live loads and staged loads

· Receive and tag materials

· Direct ship responsibility including proper disposition of hold product, food safety hold product and released product

· Red Prairie Inventory reconciliation

· Perform job-related quality duties

· Perform job-related inventory duties

· Operation of fork lift: push-pull, standard, etc. (Expert Level)

· Operation of site yard jockey (Expert Level)

· Manage job-duties with little to no supervision

· Support Logistics Coordinators and Logistics Leads with all activities assigned

Principal Accountabilities

1. Accurately record all transactions in Red Prairie and SAP inventory systems

2. Communicate with line and logistics operators to ensure materials are replenished in a timely manner

3. Manage Red Prairie & SAP programs in regard to materials management

4. Utilize FIFO to ensure proper rotation of on hand materials

5. Cross training will be required with other Material Handler positions.

6. This position and all site associates are responsible for quality and food safety.

Key Functional Skills/Knowledge

· The ability to lift 50 pounds

· Forklift certified

· Proficient with computers

· Knowledge of inventory computer systems (Red Prairie, SAP)

· Food manufacturing experience and knowledge of food safety

· Knowledge of Good Warehousing Principles

· Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices

Preferred Skills

· Yard Jockey certified

· Career Oriented

· Previous team-based work experience

Minimum Qualifications

· High School diploma or equivalent

· 2+ years of manufacturing experience

· Ability to lift 50 pounds

· Ability to adapt with an accelerated growth environment

· Ability to take action with little direction

· Mechanical troubleshooting ability

· Computer literate with an ability to enter, record, maintain and retrieve information in a computer based data collection
