The Customer Marketing Analyst plays a critical role in support of the brand team's Planning and Operations Managers for activities across the brand team.  The primary objective of this role is to provide information to the Customer Marketing Managers and Field Sales relative to brand activities and promotions.  The analyst will work closely with the CM Managers to provide the appropriate business tracking data in support of improved growth and ensure flawless program execution. The Analyst will also work with the CM Managers, Marketing Managers, Field Sales, Demand Planning and Customer Care to ensure projects are executed with minimal customer service issues.
 
Key Responsibilities:
•    Understand brand strategies and possess ability to communicate plans and growth targets for Mars Chocolate North America.
•    Responsible for the consolidation and trend analysis of market and customer intelligence using a variety of inputs including Nielsen data, historical performance, Qlikview and direct account feedback.
•    Assist in creation and own the monitoring of checkpoint management; work with CM Operations and Demand to track  commitments vs. checkpoint / orders.
•    Manage consolidated reporting dashboard to track and monitor performance.  Work closely with Customer Marketing and Operations managers regarding communication of information.
•    Support the Integrated Account Planning process by gathering Activity Set details, growth targets.
•    Assist with development of selling materials and coordinate execution of sales samples when needed.
•    Assist in communicating range changes to assigned Customers / Channels and affected brands when needed.
•    Collect Syndicated data and perform analysis by Customer.
•    Assist in development of appropriate communication methods.
•    Ad Hoc requests such as shipping sales materials, customer specific reporting and BMT misc. requests.
•    Assist in managing "crisis" type situations impacting Division / Channel.

Minimum Qualifications:
•    1 year of Analyst and/or Business experience
•    The knowledge, skills, and abilities typically acquired through the completion of an Associate's Degree program in a related field, or equivalent work experience.
•    Proficient skills in Microsoft Office
•    Ability to travel 10% of the time

•    Successful Completion of a drug and background screen

 

Preferred Qualifications:
•    2+ years Analyst experience in Business and/or Sales
•    Bachelors Degree or Advanced Degree
•    Experience working in IRI Nielsen and SAP
•    CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) Industry Experience
