Display Development Leader F/M

Location: Haguenau (30km from Strasbourg)

Reporting to the Head of display development this role is responsible for delivering against MWC’s display strategy in driving a step change in, in-store coverage and in-store quality as key levers of physical availability. This role will be accountable for creating disruptive display solutions to support the business strategy with strategic partner customers and deliver display solutions which maximize transactions and conversion.

Responsabilities

·  Support the shaping of local display strategies to maximise transactions and conversions for the business unit leveraging global display catalogues.
·  Support the global display team in the creation of scalable display solutions and catalogues to deliver against the MWC’s display strategy at a local level.
·  Lead the testing of display solutions in the market engaging with customers, managing prototypes and tracking data to measure impact on shoppers and/or Sales.
·  Work collaboratively with the Customer Development team to better understand customers’ needs and use this insight for future display design locally as well as input for the Global display team.
·  Accountable for the deployment of all display solutions within strategic partner customers across channels working closely with all relevant internal stakeholders e.g. Sales / R&D / Customer marketing / Commercial in line with defined KPI’s.
·  Create and execute trade decks to ensure the Field & Customer teams have the sell-in tools they need to engage with customers and ensure they have appropriate instructions to land the activity plan effectively.
·  Responsible for inspiring strategic partner customers with disruptive display innovations and ensure that MWC are perceived as the best in class supplier for creative solutions.
·  Partner with the global display team to lead the creation and execution of relevant bespoke display solutions and seek to identify future display opportunities and best practice to unlock growth.
·  In partnership with the Customer Management team, sell concepts to strategic partner customers where appropriate leveraging relevant shopper and customer insights & data.
·  Influence key stakeholders to ensure the needs of shoppers and customers are brought to life, in our strategic plans and the in-store execution.
·  Accountable for working with key suppliers on development, prototyping, technical specifications and H&S compliance in alignment with Commercial and the Display coordinator.

Context & Scope

The role will serve as a key business partner for the unit’s Demand leadership team, the Global Display team, C@MTT, Sales leaders, R&D, H&S and Display managers in local markets around the world providing leadership and support to drive improved Display design management and deployment.

The role will work closely with the Global Display Team and the other Display teams in key markets to co-create and potentially test - on behalf of the Display community – scalable executions to maximize transactions & conversion while driving scale & efficiencies.

The role will also aim at maximizing deployment of proven scalable Display executions and lead the development of local bespoke display solutions - where appropriate - to best drive shopper and customers engagement.

Profile

Graduate calibre, with experience in FMCG/consumer products with a Category and demand background and experience in display development or in-Store design.

Considerable display development experience with a demonstrated ability to develop and execute successfully strong and impactful display solutions in a diverse range of customers.
Ability to navigate complex situations managing multiple activities simultaneously.

Demonstrated ability to think creatively, challenge the status quo with a can do attitude and adopt a continuous improvement mindset to identify opportunities for enhancement.

Self-reliant, creative and resilient and able to respond and adapt to a fast moving, swiftly changing environment

Demonstrated ability to operationalise and execute a display strategy and engage and influence both strategic partner customers and key stakeholders behind it.

Commercially astute and proven business judgement with an understanding of the commercial impact of one’s own decision making.

Experience in areas such as (but not exclusive to): Sales, Consumer and Customer Marketing, Shopper Insights, In-store Design or R&D design.
