Job Summary

The mandate of the Strata Maintenance Associate is to ensure that the Delta Hotels by Marriott Whistler Village Suites guests' expectations are met by delivering high quality maintenance service through a well-maintained product.

What you'll do

· 
Assist in the ongoing maintenance and cleanliness of the exterior public and commercial space of the Hotel including the parkade areas and ensure that the highest standards of quality are maintained

· 
Maintain courtyard and exterior space during all four seasons, including snow removal from paths and ensure all external/parkade areas are free of litter and debris

· 
Ensure garbage disposal and recycling area functional, clean and in order

· 
Responsible for ensuring all external lighting is functional

· 
Dust, polish and remove marks from walls and furnishings

· 
Vacuum carpets and floor care duties

· 
Completes all tasks in a timely manner within a multi-function team environment

· 
Complete all other duties as assigned

This role requires the ability to move and lift up to 50 lbs and the ability to use power tools. Standing, sitting or walking for extended periods of time and ensuring a professional demeanor, clear communication and appearance in a clean uniform are also required. Prior to employment, we'll ask you to complete safety training and certification.
