Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, Wintime Limited. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc.  The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel’s employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment.  If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc.

The Senior Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives, relationship development, and proactive market engagement. This leadership role focuses on securing corporate and Smerf groups, LNR and event business while mentoring sales team members and collaborating closely with operations to ensure exceptional guest experiences.
The ideal candidate is results-driven, highly organized, and experienced in hotel sales strategy, negotiation, and account management.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Generation & Strategy
•Achieve or exceed budgeted revenue goals for rooms, catering, and events through proactive solicitation
•Cultivate relationships with corporate clients, travel industry professionals, and meeting planners to secure repeat business.
•Develop and execute comprehensive sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
•Analyze market trends, competitive data, and demand forecasts to adjust strategies accordingly.
•Manage and grow key accounts to maximize repeat business and long-term partnerships.
•Lead contract negotiations and ensure profitable business mix.
•Analyze market trends and competitor activity to create annual sales and marketing initiatives that generate business
•Negotiate rates, function space, and contract terms, ensuring profitability and compliance with hotel policies.
Accounts & Client Relationship Management
•Maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel managers, event planners, and third-party intermediaries.
•Conduct site tours, sales calls, and client presentations.
•Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.
•Ensure seamless handoff of group business to operations teams while maintaining client oversight
Leadership & Collaboration
•Mentor and support other sales team members
•Collaborate with Revenue Management to align pricing and inventory strategies.
•Work closely with Operations to ensure delivery of contracted services and client satisfaction.
•Occasional evening/weekend work and other responsibilities as needed or required by the General Manager
•Participate in the Hotel MOD program

Reporting & Administrative Duties
•Maintain accurate records in sales and other systems.
•Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports.
•Track sales performance against goals and adjust strategies as needed.
•Participate in budget planning and forecasting
Qualifications
•Hotel sales experience in Sales and Events
•Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
•Strong negotiation and closing skills
•Experience with Marriott systems
•Strong presentation, and organizational skills.
•Ability to travel as needed.

Compensation & Benefits •Competitive base salary •Health dental •Paid time off and holiday pay •Bonus program. 85,000-90,000 plus

The salary range for this position is $85,000 to $90,000 annually.
