Qualifications :
Job Summary
· Clean guest rooms in accordance with established quality and performance standards to allow a sufficient quantity of vacant and clean guest rooms for sale
· Clean occupied guest rooms
· Perform general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products to adhere to health & safety standards
· Perform other duties as requested, such as cleaning unexpected spills and executing special guest requests
Requirements:
· Prior cleaning experience in a housekeeping department is preferred
· Must have ability to use cleaning chemicals
· Must be able to perform heavy lifting (up to 75lbs), pushing and pulling (up to 250lbs) on a regular & continuing basis
· Stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 4 hours in length
· Must be service oriented & able to communicate with guests, co-workers, & management
· Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process
· Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written and professional standards of appearance
· Must be able to work a flexible schedule including PM shifts, weekends and holidays
