Job Overview

Purchasing Coordinator Amazon Robotics is seeking an experienced Purchasing Associate to develop Supply Chain with activities that achieve streamlined supplier communications, on-time-delivery. The successful candidate for this position will be self-managing, have a high sense of urgency and driven to achieve a defined service level. This candidate will work collaboratively with multiple business functions in a team environment and will be responsible for the following: Essential Duties This position will work with multiple cross-functional teams and will be responsible for the supply chain activities outlined below:

Essential Duties:

· Evaluate and monitor supplier shipping schedules and expedite Purchase Orders (P. O.) as needed to achieve on-time-delivery.
· Validate supplier Advanced Shipment Notices (ASNs) are accurate and align with expected ship dates.
· Identify Supply Chain material risks, providing transparent monitoring of materials and escalating supply issues.
· Resolve P. O. receiving errors and assist with invoice reconciliation.
· Revise data entry points to measure supplier performance.
· Assist with purchasing materials, equipment and supplies from suppliers, including inventory, drop-shipped items and non-inventory items.
· Assist Buyer/Planners with maintaining supplier relationships, monitoring and addressing supply issues and developing parts and projects.
· Support purchasing team with routine tasks, administrations, projects, improvement initiatives and automation plans.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelors' degree or relevant experience
· Purchasing/Procurement or experience in Supply Chain
· Experience working in a manufacturing environment sourcing, purchasing, or managing mechanical products.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong bias for action.
· Highly effective oral and written English communication skills.
