Job Purpose: Two to three sentences describing the overall purpose of the job

Install and repair all plumbing distribution and related equipment throughout the property.

Job Responsibilities: Maximum of ten responsibilities, in order of percentage of time spent on functions from longest to shortest; do not list anything that doesnot represent at least 10% of the job's time. Please include supervisory responsibilities.

1.

Install, maintain, and repair all types of plumbing systems throughout the property including flood pumps and valves, water and sewer mainsand storm drains.

2.

Complete all plumbing system work orders and scheduled preventative maintenance. Maintain a preventative maintenance program for allplumbing systems

3.

Repair all equipment within the property related to air, water, gas, steam, and chemical systems.

4.

Troubleshoot pumping systems and water softeners and make repairs as needed.

5.

Replace electric and gas water heaters.

6.

Maintain cleanliness in assigned spaces.

7.

Check plumbing installations and repairs performed by contractors.

8.

Ensure compliance with all standards and codes.

9.

Comply with OSHA regulations, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and safety precautions.

10.

Perform other duties as assigned

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience

Minimum of three years plumbing experience required.

Licenses/Certifications

Journey plumbers' license preferred. Valid Driver's License and a satisfactory driving record may be required. Material HandlingEquipment certification as required (may vary by property)

Authority to hire or fire other STARS, or makes suggestions and recommendations as to the hiring, firing , advancement, promotion or anyother change of status of other employees are given particular weight.
