Roles and Responsibilities

This position is responsible for coordinating the payroll processing, reporting and administrative support of day-to-day payroll functions with an emphasis in compliance . To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability required.

This position is expected to last 2-3 months with the possibility of extension.

• Good written and verbal communication
• Able to understand and interpret Kuwait Labor Law regulations and laws
• Able to work independently and ensure accuracy and completion payroll entries such as addition of new employees, salary adjustments, leaves, terminations
• Assist in preparing reports and schedules that will be delivered to clients and other parties;
• To manage all the payroll related activities including the monthly payroll processing and salary transfers to banks Collaborating with Finance team for preparation of Employment cost forecast and reconciliations
• Ability to solve problems creatively and pragmatically

Qualifications and Skills

·  Bachelor's degree
·  Intermediate to Advanced skills in programs such as MS Word, Excel and Outlook. Proficiency in Excel.
·  Professional qualification - MBA in HR or equivalent is preferred Experience and Background

·  Between 1 and 2 years' relevant experience in SAP HCM
·  Able to understand and interpret Kuwait Labor Law regulations and laws
·  Proficiency in Arabic language skills would be an advantage
