Role Summary/Purpose

The purpose of this position is to coordinate the day-to-day activities of maintenance workers to ensure that production equipment, machinery, or instruments function reliably and safely, and that facilities, buildings, and plants are in good working order. The position will support the weeknight and weekend maintenance staff and will be scheduled to work Sunday - Thursday 3pm - midnight. Starting salary will be $62,000 depending upon experience.

Essential Responsibilities

As the Maintenance Supervisor, you will:

·  Ensure all equipment is operational and no production delays
·  Ensure shifts have conducted checklist tasks
·  Provide input to daily production meetings
·  Confirm key actions to Maintenance Manager
·  Ensure actions received during production meetings are completed / resolved
·  Make detailed work planning and task communication
·  Plan and prioritize resources
·  Monitor and analyze mean time between failure and cost performance of equipment
·  Ensure 100% system adherence as part of the detailed breakdown review
·  Perform improvement planning
·  Identify near misses and unsafe conditions, act and report to immediate manager
·  Take full responsibility for the shift in relation to health, safety, and environment aspects and impacts
·  Maintain a tidy workplace
·  Coordinate with Maintenance Manager, other supervisors and global teams to review and share best practices
·  Support new equipment introduction by ensuring alignment to production plan and effective production training
·  Manage the contracting of external services with suppliers
·  Ensure skills matrices are up to date for teams, and develop training requirements and budgets
Qualifications/Requirements

·  High School Diploma / GED
·  Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience
Desired Characteristics

·  Previous leadership experience
·  Experience with corrective and preventive maintenance
·  Experience with automatic and mechanical equipment, electrical installations and building related equipment
·  Awareness on ISO 14001 (EMS) and OSHAS 18001 systems
