Desired profile

Job Summary

· To conduct membership enquires in a professional manner.

· Proactively seek new sales leads from existing database of prospects and member referrals

· Perform membership sales functions, ie admin and Daily Records within the club.

· To, under the supervision of sales manager, identify and chase prospective Corporate Memberships.

· To, under the supervision of sales manager, Liaise with current corporate accounts to add new members.

· Contact at least 30 prospective members every day, valid contact includes TE's walk-ins, appointments, be backs and follow up calls.

· Convert as many TI's as possible in to appointments, your goal is 100% conversion ratio.

· Convert at least 30-50% of walk-ins.

· Ensure you meet all goals and targets specified on a daily and monthly basis.

· Ask new members for referrals at the point of sale and contact them to arrange appointments and complementary visits. This is an integral part of your job description, duties and responsibilities to generate referrals from every sale. This is your guarantee of quality appointment in the future.

· Complete membership agreement forms thoroughly and clearly as per audit specification. Commissions will not be paid if these rules are not complied with.

· Discuss the benefits with every new member. Up selling every aspect of the club and driving secondary revenue.

· The rules and regulations of the club must be communicated and given to the new members.

· Maintain all daily and monthly reports in accordance with the instructions from your Sales Manager in an efficient and orderly manner.

· Deal with any membership administrative functions deemed necessary by Sales Manager.

· To develop a good working knowledge of the corporate and individual databases and to maintain the database effectively.

· Your goal is to initiate interest and awareness leading to a visit/appointment with the intension to purchase a membership.

· Formulate good marketing/advertising and promotional ideas.

· Present to the corporate market from time to time when necessary.

· To organise open days in the Country Club or on company premises.

· To organise corporate hospitality events throughout the year.

· Ensure all promotions are conducted efficiently.

· Evaluate the effectiveness of promotions at suitable events, areas and times of the month.

Cash/Bank Handling

· Process all payment methods in accordance with Accounting procedures and policies.

· Follow property control audit standards and cash handling procedures (e.g., blind drops).

· Count bank at end of shift, complete designated cashier reports, resolve any discrepancies, drop off receipts, and secure bank.

· Obtain assigned bank and ensure accuracy of contracted monies, obtaining change required for expected business level, and keeping bank secure at all times.

· Transport bank to/from assigned workstation, following security procedures.

Follow company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests' service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speak with others using clear and professional language; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others. Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines; reach, bend, twist, pull, and stoop; move, lift, or carry objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds; stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.
