Job description

APEC Digital Products is looking for a driven and business-savvy Business Analyst Intern who is passionate about leveraging technology to enhance Marriott’s digital presence and value-add. Join us in delivering exceptional digital experiences that redefine travel for our business segments and customers worldwide.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

·  Collaborate closely with various APEC business segments to align on business requirements and technical strategies, emphasizing the integral role of technology in Marriott’s operations.
·  Apply digital product and UX best practices to identify experience gaps and opportunities, and provide insights to support stakeholder decision-making across APEC.
·  Analyze web analytics data and generate performance reports and data insights to facilitate business decisions.
·  Manage the creation and optimization of webpages, ensuring they meet business goals, technical feasibility and user experience standards.
·  Assist in managing stakeholder content requests across APEC by tracking, organizing, and supporting follow-ups for digital product initiatives.
·  Prepare presentation materials through research, data gathering, and content consolidation.

JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

·  Currently pursuing a Bachelor/Master in Business, Analytics, Marketing or any Digital related fields.
·  Strong proficiency in MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Word.
·  Understanding of digital products, websites, or user experience principles is an advantage.
·  The ability to work independently and as an effective team member.
·  Dependability, flexibility, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
·  Self-motivated, dependable, detail-oriented and open to learning in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
·  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
·  Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
·  Familiarity with web analytics tools (e.g. Adobe Analytics) or data querying (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI) is a plus, but not mandatory.

QUALIFICATION STANDARD

·  Education:
·  Undergraduate in Business Management or Hospitality, preferably in their third year of undergrad studies
·  Requirements
·  Singaporean, Singapore Permanent Resident Holder or valid student pass
·  Prepared to commit to a six months’ internship
·  Eligible for undergraduate in a Singapore registered university program
·  Grooming:
·  All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance per Marriott standards.
