Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, Jamsan Hotel Management, Inc. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc.  The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel’s employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment.  If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc.

Essential Functions:
The following list is not exhaustive and may be supplemented as necessary.

Clean and set up all Guest Rooms as per Cleaning Guidelines set by Management
Clean all Public areas as per Cleaning Guidelines set by Management
Understand all Room Types in building and understand amenities in each room.
Understand how everything operates in guest room ie. Fireplace, windows, etc.
Understand the Building and layout and be able to give directions to guests
Perform laundry duties
Stock and maintain housekeeping supply rooms and housekeeping carts as per
instruction

Assist guests with all questions and reasonable requests
Maintain clean and tidy appearance & work area.
Follow Company standards and instructions by maintaining a positive attitude.
Originate work orders for needed repairs to guest rooms or public areas and
review with the Supervisor.

Maintain all supplies and equipment for cleaning of guest rooms (and other
areas), in accordance with policy and procedures on housekeeping cart.

Make sure that all cleaning agents are properly diluted and used according to
instructions. Must be familiar with MSDS book and it's location and purpose.

Maintain “Lost and Found Log” on items found in the rooms or common space.
Represent a company in a positive and beneficial way when making contacts
within the community.

Schedule Requirements:
Must be available to work as per schedule every week, including nights, weekends and
holidays. Will vary depending on business volume and staffing needs. Flexibility and
knowledge of all positions a must. Ability to respond promptly in emergency situations.

Specific Job Physical Requirements:

Must be able to walk a total of 8 hours in a day.
Must be able to lift 30-40 lbs.
Must be able to carry 20-35 lbs. up to a distance of 200 ft.
Must be able to bend, squat, crawl, climb, reach above shoulder level, kneel,
grasp, push and pull.

Qualification Standards:
Education/Experience: 

High school diploma or equivalent. Prior similar job responsibilities a plus.

Grooming: Must present a professional image. All employees must lead by
example and maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance as per Company's
guidelines and brand specific standards.

The hourly pay range for this position is $15.50 to $16.00.
