Job Purpose: Two to three sentences describing the overall purpose of the job
Perform a combination of cleaning duties to maintain cleanliness in guest corridors,
stairwells and common areas according to established procedures.
Job Responsibilities: Maximum of ten responsibilities, in order of percentage of time spent on functions from longest to shortest; do not list anything that doesnot represent at least 10% of the job's time. Please include supervisory responsibilities.
1.
Vacuum and clean all corridors, vending areas, guest service elevators, stairwells
and landings according to preset standards and procedures.
2.
Clean windows and light fixtures in common areas, replacing bulbs as required according to preset standards and procedures.
3.
Refresh housekeeping carts by providing clean linen and pull dirty linen and trash
from carts according to preset standards and procedures.
4.
Operate glass washing machine.
5.
Deliver clean glasses to designated linen closets and/or room attendant carts.
6.
Clean all equipment according to preset standards and procedures after use and return to designated areas.
7.
Assist in on-going projects such as rotating mattresses, deep cleaning rooms and shampoo projects.
8.
Clean guest rooms as needed according to preset standards and procedures. Strip linens from beds as required.
9.
Enter, respond to and close maintenance system work orders as required.
10.
Report maintenance problems immediately.
11.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications: Describe the minimum qualifications needed to complete the job responsibilities.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience
No initial experience required. Knowledge of cleaning equipment, methods, and chemicals also preferred. Good communication skills requiredfor interaction with hotel guests and staff.

The starting pay for this position is $18.75 per hour, the 6 month pay for this position is $21.25 per hour, and the one year pay for this position is $25.00 per hour.
