Job Summary

Perform general office duties (e.g., filing, sending emails, typing, faxing, copying). Prepare sales-related documents throughout the sales process (e.g., proposals, contracts, or banquet event orders). Promote awareness of brand image internally and externally. Gather materials and assemble information packages (e.g., brochures, promotional materials). Use sales techniques that maximize revenue while maintaining existing guest loyalty to Marriott. Enter, retrieve, reconcile, and verify information (e.g., commissions, leads, third parties) in software involved in the sales process. Answer guest questions about property facilities/services (e.g., hours of operation, rates and room types, packages, promotions, entertainment, restaurants, special events). Serve as the point of contact for clients and communicate with them by phone and email to respond to questions and requests.

Meet with group clients and actively participate in the Sales site inspections to present, suggest and sell retail items and amenities for the group attendees. Prepare sales-related documents throughout the sales process (e.g., proposals, contracts, or banquet event orders). Promote awareness of brand image internally and externally. Gather materials and assemble information packages and amenities packs when needed (e.g., brochures, promotional materials, baskets). Use sales techniques to achieve and exceed Retail Group sales budget and maximize revenue while maintaining existing guest loyalty to Marriott. Enter, retrieve, reconcile, and verify information (e.g., commissions, leads, third parties) in software involved in the sales process. Answer guest questions about property facilities/services (e.g., hours of operation, rates and room types, packages, promotions, entertainment, restaurants, special events). Deliver contracted amenities according to contact instructions. Serve as the point of contact for clients and communicate with them by phone and email to respond to questions and requests. Coordinate with the vendors on island and off island to make sure the merchandise in available in time for the group and issue purchase orders as needed. Maintained and update inventory of Group merchandise in stock and support the monthly physical count inventory of the outlets. Support retail shops operation in the outlets, office and inventory as needed.

The ideal candidate will have:

·  Excellent written and oral communications skills in English
·  Minimum two years of experience in Retail Sales
·  Knowledge in ordering process and inventory control
·  Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure providing alternative and flexibility to the meeting planner
·  Proficient in Outlook, Excel, Word, and Power Point presentations
·  Ability to work with a diverse team
·  Flexible Schedule

Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
