Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, A2Z Hospitality. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel’s employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc.
A2Z Hospitality Management is seeking an experienced, dedicated, hands-on, and compassionate leader to become the next General Manager of the Aloft Miami Dadeland.
As the General Manager, you will be responsible for the overall success of the hotel. You will plan and oversee the activities of a diverse workforce to ensure the smooth and profitable running of the hotel and food and beverage outlet. You will plan short-term, long-term, and day-to-day operations of your property. Your focus will be on maximizing revenue and profit levels, continuously enhancing the guest experience, improving the team’s morale and development, and ensuring a safe workplace environment.
Responsibilities:
● Ensure each department exceeds guest service expectations
● Manage human resources functions including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, performance evaluations, training, and disciplinary actions
● Meet or exceed revenue and profit targets
● Analyze financial and operational information on an ongoing basis to adjust business plans, labor requirements, and operating costs
● Oversee Food & Beverage operations to ensure the outlets are maximizing profit levels and customer satisfaction.
● Regularly inspect guest rooms, restaurant, building exterior, pool area, parking lot, etc.
● At least two years General Manager experience, in select-service/full-service hotels of similar size and caliber.
● Experience from Marriott or Hilton brands are preferred. Successful candidate must possess excellent communication, leadership and organizational skills.
● Minimum of 6 years of progressively responsible hotel management experience.
● Base Salary $80K – $90K
