Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, Cycas Hospitality B.V. (main account). The franchisee controls all aspects of the hotel's employment policies and practices, including the selection and hiring process. If you accept a position at this hotel you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International.

Key Job Responsibilities

·  Understanding Markets & Maximizing Revenue
·  Identifies new reservations sales business to achieve personal and property revenue goals.
·  Understands the overall market, including competitors strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand etc. and knows how to sell against them.
·  Closes the best opportunities for the property based on market conditions and property needs.
·  Monitors same day selling procedures to maximize room revenue and control property occupancy.
·  Gains understanding of the property primary target customer and service expectations; serves the customer by understanding their business, business issues and concerns, to offer better business solution.
·  Conducting Daily Reservations Reactive Sales Activities for individual reservations and groups.

·  Responds to incoming reservations sales opportunities for the property.
·  Uses negotiating skills and creative selling abilities to close on business and negotiate contracts.
·  Uses sales resources and administrative/support staff effectively.
·  Assists in monitoring group reservation forecast data.
·  Coordinates with sales and reservation agents to process rooming lists and reservation cards.
·  Executes and supports the operational aspects of business booked (e.g., generating proposal, writing contract, customer correspondence).
·  Assists with monitoring accuracy of reservation sales orders within tracking systems.
·  Tracks no-show reservations and processes charges. (target is to aim 95% charge)
·  Tracks cancellations and early departure fee charges.
·  Checks daily arrivals to ensure all necessary billing instructions are applied to reservations.
·  Manages wait list and prioritizes order of wait list contacts to be made.
·  Prepares work and maintenance orders.
·  Works collaboratively with off-property sales channels (e.g., Sales Office, Area Sales, EST) to ensure sales efforts are coordinated, complementary and not duplicative.
·  Responds to incoming catering opportunities for the hotel.
·  Identifies, qualifies and solicits new catering business to achieve personal and hotel revenue goals.
·  Understands the overall market - competitors strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand etc. and knows how to sell against them.
·  Closes the best opportunities for the hotel based on market conditions and hotel needs.
·  Uses negotiating skills and creative selling abilities to close on business and negotiate contracts.
·  Manages catering sales revenue and operation budgets and provides forecasting reports.
·  Learning and using Marriott SFA to ensure groups holding correctly and washing.
·  Assisting guest service department balancing & room authorization via Marsha
·  Assisting with overbooking level and book out if required
·  Executes and supports the operational aspects of business booked (e.g., generating proposal, writing contract, customer correspondence).

Essential (include driving license and work permit if required)

·  UK citizen or valid work permit
·  Basic numeracy and literacy skills
·  3 years experience within a Reservations role, preferably within a Hotel environment
·  Strong knowledge of Opera is essential
·  Previous Reservations Supervisory or Management experience is preferred
