Construction of the largest full-service Marriott-branded hotel in Shanghai, Shanghai Marriott Hotel City Centre opened its doors on 24 November, 2011. Located aside People's Square and Park on Xi Zang (Middle) Road, the Shanghai Marriott Hotel City Centre enjoys a premium downtown location. Nanjing Pedestrian Street is a 30 second stroll from the hotel's street entrance. The BUND, Suzhou Creek and the lively Xintiandi are all within easy walking distance.

Qualifications :

MAJOR FUNCTIONS:

To assist the Food and Beverage department for the development, planning and implementation of systematic training programs and activities for all F&B employees.. In the day to day operations follow with brand standard to maximize revenues and minimize costs with particular attention to complete guest satisfaction. Assist outlet managers where necessary

MAJOR RESPONSIBILIES:

· To assist in conducting training and identifying all the training required for F&B division.

· Displays leadership in guest hospitality. Exemplifies excellent customer service and creates a positive atmosphere for guest relations.

· To assist outlet manager periodically with reviewing & updating service standards.

· To assist in developing a comprehensive training plan of F&B training activities to be reviewed monthly and recommendations made where necessary.

· To assist all F&B Outlet Managers in identifying each of their training needs and follow through with implementation.

· Assist to achieve departmental budget goals increased sales revenue and the efficient cost expenditure.

· May be assigned special projects.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

· To advise of any new support material that would be beneficial to the hotel.

· Enforce Marriott's Principles of Hospitality at all times.

· Reviews guest satisfaction results and other data to identify areas of improvement.

· To have a complete understanding of the Personnel and Training Operations Manual, policies and procedures.

· To be punctual to work, for meetings and activities wearing employee fashion according to the Hotel's dress codes & name tag at all times.

· To maintain good working relationship with your colleagues, and other departments.

· To have a complete understanding of and adhere to the hotel's policy relating to Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety.

· To provide a courteous and professional service at all times.

· Fully understand Marriott policies and standard.



JOB SPECIFICATION:

· Be discreet and maintain confidentially.

· To respond to changes in the Personnel and Training Function as dictated by the industry, company or hotel.

· Demonstrated leadership qualities

·  Demonstrated strong hospitality and communication skills.

· Demonstrated strong work ethic

· Proficient in English

· Strong communication skills (verbal, listening, writing)

· Ability to work well in stressful and high pressure situations
