Qualifications :

Hollins Hall Hotel & County Club are currently recruiting for Food & Beverage Hosts for all of our food outlets, to include Cast Iron Bar & Grill, Zest Bar and conference facilities.

As a front of house representative, the Host is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service experiences for our customers in all of the Hotel's food outlets. As an entry level position, you will play a key part in the Food Services team by using your initiative and a proactive approach to ensure that the guest receives the best possible service during their time with us.

Our Hosts will need to provide a warm and sincere welcome to our guests, anticipate guest service needs, assist individuals with disability requirements and thank all guests with genuine appreciation. A Host should have a good command of the English language in order to communicate effectively with both customers and team members.

The role involves:

· the service of food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests ensuring that any guest' queries regarding menu selection are dealt with in a professional and accommodating manner;

· the setting up of tables and conference rooms as per the type of event and service standards;

· liaising with the kitchen in response to menu items, dietary requests, length of wait and product availability; attention to guest in terms of meal/beverage satisfaction;

· actively up selling to each customer at each correct opportunity to maximise revenue;

· the service/clearing of tables, carrying of trays;

· maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the shift; the use of MICROS for recording all food/beverage related sales and ensuring accurate processing of payment;

· complete closing duties of outlet; follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures;

· report any accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; and complete safety training and certifications;

· ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional;

· maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.

Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by immediate Supervisor/Management.

Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; complete safety training and certifications. Ensure uniform and personal appearance is clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Anticipate and address guests' service needs. Speak with others using clear and professional language. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
