Cooks perform a range of tasks related to guest service, food preparation and cooking.

Their main duties and responsibilities include:
Greeting guest and being at their service

Preparing and cooking food orders quickly and efficiently

Following recipes and preparation procedures accurately

Maintaining a clean and organized work area

Monitoring and maintaining the stock of food ingredients

Ensuring food quality and freshness

Adhering to all sanitation and food production codes

Setting up and breaking down workstations

Communicating with other kitchen staff to coordinate and complete orders promptly

Performing basic equipment maintenance

Handling and storing ingredients properly to reduce waste and maintain quality

Place Food Orders on shelves, coolers, etc

Without assistance, carry, place, move, or lift objects weighing up to 25 pounds; with assistance for items beyond 25 pounds.

As a Cook, you will be responsible for setting up the prep station, stocking inventory, and maintaining sanitation standards. To be successful in this role, you will need to have a deep knowledge of food preparation activities, including grilling, baking, and frying.

Responsibilities

Preparing a variety of simple and complex food orders to customers’ satisfaction

Keeping kitchen and counter area clean and free from bacteria and pests

Operating, maintaining and regularly cleaning kitchen equipment

Managing inventory and ensuring that all supplies are fresh

Following strict health and safety guidelines

Communicating effectively with wait staff and other kitchen staff

Assisting in menu creation and planning

1. High school diploma or equivalent.

2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

4. Attention to detail and cleanliness.

5. Basic understanding of food safety regulations.

6. Flexibility to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays.

NON-EXEMPT- HOURLY. $14.50-$15.50
