The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc.  The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel’s employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment.  If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc.

The Marriott Orlando Airport Lakeside is hiring for a Catering Sales Manager. The Catering Sales Manager is responsible for soliciting and securing catering events for the hotel in the social market segment. This includes, but not limited to Weddings, Quinceaneras, Holiday Parties, Retirement Parties, Birthday Parties and any other social events such as a pageant. Preparing event order documents, correspondence between events and other departments and correspondence with clients. Making sales calls to industry professionals such as event planners and establish a rapport to enhance referrals. Completing weekly and monthly reporting in a timely fashion. Performs other duties as assigned to meet business needs.

This position will be a Tuesday to Saturday position.

We are looking for a motivated self starter individual. 
Marriott CI-TY experience preferred.
