Amala is an urban day spa within Hyatt Regency Birmingham in the heart of the city. Offering respite from the daily hustle and bustle of city life, the spa comprises six state-of-the-art therapy rooms including a therapy suite enabling two people to enjoy their spa experience together. Amala is home to a Turkish Hamman and a private Hammam treatment room with a marble table where traditionally inspired therapies are applied in a warm steam environment. amala's treatments build upon the cornerstones to well-being, sound nutrition, regular exercise, peace of mind and care of the face and body

We are currently recruiting for a Casual Spa Therapist o join our team.

You will provide an excellent and consistent level of service to your customers. The Therapist is responsible for performing professional massage therapy, body treatments, facials, manicures, pedicures and waxing (aesthetic services) and remain current with the industry.

The Therapist must perform their duties in a safe and professional manner to clients, providing uncompromised attention to guest/member service.

This posiiton is working on a casual basis. Shifts will be anywhere between 6.30am - 10.30pm.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

The ideal canddiate will hold an international certification in therapy or Spa treatments, with industry work experience as Therapist or Masseur/euse.

Knowledge of the Comfort Zone or ESPA product range would be advantageous.
