Job Summary

To assist the restaurant team efficiently in the daily routines in order to create a motivated team that will ensure high guest satisfaction and that the best quality of service is provided.

·  A casual position based at the Bexleyheath Marriott Hotel. Hours are based on business requirements.
Experience:
·  Previous experience working within a customer service environment desired.
Skills and Knowledge:
·  Strong Communication skills (verbal, listening, writing)
·  Need to be flexible in line with business needs.
·  High standard of personal hygiene.
·  Good team player.
·  Guest focused.
·  Have an eye for detail.
·  Continuous learning skills.
·  Must have motivation level and drive to achieve.
Education or Certification:
·  Good level of English essential

Specific Duties
The following are specific responsibilities and contributions critical to the successful performance of the position:

·  To be aware of the Marriott Food & Beverage SOP manual.
·  To ensure that you have full product knowledge of all menu items and hotel facilities and services.
·  To maintain Brand Standards and a high standard of service in the Bar, Restaurant and Room Service at all times, ensuring that all guest expectations are exceeded.
·  To promote sales and up sell at all times for both food and beverage items.
·  To ensure that all daily operating and cleaning tasks are carried out on a daily basis.
·  To ensure that all hotel corridors are kept clear from rubbish, glassware and crockery at all times.
·  To carry out other duties as may be required to ensure the hotel operation is properly maintained to provide total guest satisfaction.
·  To be fully conversant with the Hotel Fire and Emergency procedures.
·  To ensure a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance at all times.
