As a Barista you will have a significant impact on the customer experience. Baristas will ensure that service is fast, friendly and fabulous. Baristas will make customers comfortable in a lively, magnetic and fast paced environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
·  Ability to work independently in a fast paced high volume environment.
·  Meet and exceed customer expectations with a positive “I can make it happen” attitude.
·  Create all drinks in accordance to outlet standard.
·  Demonstrate extensive product knowledge of both food and beverage. Bring menu items alive with a thorough description of ingredients and preparation methods.
·  Demonstrate thorough product knowledge to address allergy and dietary concerns.
·  Demonstrates great teamwork by cooperating with and assisting co-workers
·  Comfortably offer suggestions and recommendations.
·  Prior to selling any food or beverage order the attendant should ensure the presentation looks the way it should.
·  Ensures the customer's needs are anticipated.
·  Responsible for cleaning the Coffee Bar and keeping their area organized.
·  Maintains a favorable working relationship with the culinary team and all other company employees.
·  Keeps immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance
·  Knows all the standards of the Coffee Bar and adheres to them.
·  At all times projects a favorable image of the Outlet.
·  Other duties as required may be assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
·  Must be available to work a variety of shifts including early mornings (5:30am), weekdays and weekends
·  Must be a well organized with a focus on presentation and cleanliness of the outlet.
·  Prior experience in the Hospitality and/or Food & Beverage industry an asset.
·  Must have Serving it Right certificate and be legally able to serve Alcohol according to BC requirements
·  Must have a certificate in the safe handling of food (Foodsafe-Basic).
·  You must be friendly and upbeat and you must have a smile at all times.
·  Exceptional interpersonal skills to enhance both the presentation and service standards.
·  Must have excellent communication, guest service and interpersonal skills.
·  Will be a dedicated, keen and self disciplined individual with a sincere desire to provide excellent customer service within a high volume environment while maintaining a motivated and organized environment for fellow employees.
·  Micros POS system knowledge an asset.
·  Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
