Key tasks

What this role SO/ does?

• Maintain a log of all errand runs and luggage stored
• Organise the sorting and distribution of all hotel and guest mail, parcels and messages
• Ensure all daily checklists are completed and handovers thorough.
• Ensure that the trolleys used by the Concierge section are clean and shining at all times.
• Ensure the shining ritual is done daily.
• Organize the priorities and manpower within the section. Ensure that the Concierge team is strategically well positioned to meet all guests’ needs.
• Ensure that the Concierge team is dynamic and efficient and all tasks are completed within Sofitel So Singapore guidelines
• Keep up to date information for places to see, go and dine in the city of Singapore
• Promote Le Club, Advantage Plus and in-house promotions
• Practice and present a positive attitude at all times.
• Assist in achieving on-going improvements in the quality of service delivered to both external and internal customers.
• Ensure fast, effective and friendly service is provided to internal and external guests at all times.
• Ensure all guests receive a friendly and courteous welcome by the doorperson and porters whilst in the hotel
• Ensure the workplace is clean and well maintained at all times.
• Ensure you are immaculately groomed at all times adhering to Sofitel So Singapore grooming standards.
• Work honestly, ethically and with respect to team members’ diverse backgrounds’.
• Carry out tasks as instructed by any member of the management team.
• Continually apply and develop the specific technical knowledge and job skills/requirements needed for effective job performance (including attending compulsory training sessions).
• Accept and welcome feedback on performance with the attitude to take action where necessary.

Requirements;
Candidate must possess at least a Primary/Secondary School/'O' Level, Higher secondary/Pre-U/A level/College, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Management or equivalent.
At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Hotel Management/Tourism Services or equivalent.
Full-Time position(s) available.
