OUR EXPECTATIONS FROM THE ROLE:

·  Have knowledge of hotel, rates, staff and services with hours of operations for all departments involved and surrounding areas. 
·  Has a thorough knowledge of guestrooms including: locations, views, amenities, features, types, etc. 
·  Offer the hotel guests the best possible service through courteous and proper phone answering procedures. 
·  Be an ambassador by promoting the hotel, restaurant, lounge, gift shops, etc. 
·  Be able to give accurate directions and information regarding the immediate and metro area. 
·  Ensure all customer complaints are recorded in the Guest Experience Platform in a timely and professional manner. 
·  Ensure and assist all guests experiencing a problem receive an immediate response along with satisfactory resolution, any promised compensation is delivered and all guests receive appropriate follow up in a timely and professional manner. 
·  Ensure effective coaching and counselling methods are used as directed by Marriott International. 
·  Assist At Your Service Manager in managing the operations and admin tasks including conducting performance appraisals, job chats of assigned staff ensuring development plans are in place and used. 
·  Be familiar with all SOPs, LSOPs and Job aids relating to the front office operation. 
·  Have a thorough knowledge of all Emergency Procedures 
·  Regularly conduct PCI and hospitality audits in order to ensure compliance according to Marriott International standards. 
·  Be fully aware of the Marriott Brand standard compliance requirements for all front office sections. 
·  Be security conscious at all times and inform Manager on Duty of anything suspicious 
·  Have strong organizational skills; always practice “Clean as you go” 
·  Report to work on time with proper uniform, including name tag. Personal appearance and other grooming standards must comply with the standard of the hotel. 
·  At all times strive to represent Marriott in the most professional, courteous manner. 
·  Each associate is expected to carry out, within their capabilities, all reasonable requests by management 
·  Be flexible to work various shifts around the business needs to assist all front office sections 
·  Be proactive in your job, giving proper handover to other colleagues/department head and to follow through. Informing all department related information to the department head in his/ her absence with proper communication. 
·  Showing positive attitude and inculcating the same within the team members. 
·  Be able to perform any additional scope of duties if requested by the Management. 
·  Ensuring all the resources is available for the associates to carry out their duties. 
·  Open and close shift in accordance with manager's checklist Open communications – information related to operations, reservation details, and agendas externally or internally must be coordination with colleagues, department concerned and immediate superior. 
·  Be familiar all outlets information – Property owned and outsourced outlets and Local restaurants, Names, Types of cuisine, type of food , price & Opening/Closing Hours. 
·  Ensure effective coaching and counselling for up selling and cross selling of restaurant and proper cash handling in-line with ISRA audit. 
·  Ensure all monthly P&L reports should submitted in a timely matter.
·  Coach and develop Supervisor, Teamleader & associates (e.g., create expectations for continual improvement, provide challenging tasks and assignments, hold development discussions, and construct and execute development plans). 
·  Assists in monitoring group reservation forecast data. 
·  Responds to incoming reservations sales opportunities for the property.
·  Ensures coordination and monitoring the reservations for special events (i.e. Ramadan, Christmas, New Years, etc.) 
·  To ensure all group bookings have consistent follow-up, to monitor performance of individual team members and communicate all necessary details with regards to bookings, guests and colleagues to the managers. 
·  Always well informed about the daily/weekly/monthly plans such as events, promotions, bookings and discounts in the outlet, VIP guest in house, dietary requirements of guests, etc.
