Marriott London Hotels encompassing The Park Tower Knightsbridge, a Luxury Collection Hotel, The Park Lane Hotel, Le Méridien Piccadilly, W Leicester Square and Aloft London Excel is currently looking for a Finance Clerk – Accounts Receivable to join our Finance team in our Central London offices.

As an Accounts Receivables Clerk for Marriott Central London Hotels, the main duties are to ensure that clients with credit facilities receive accurate invoices and all credit card transactions are reconciled on a daily basis.

Our Finance department has a team of 26 people and we look after 5 properties so most of the team are multi skilled and have shared responsibility for more than one hotel. Such is the case of the Accounts Receivable team. In the role, you will have to organize and maintain daily tasks for two properties, so it is quite a dynamic environment.

The AR department is multi-cultural and you always learn something about a different culture.

Among the various duties, you will be responsible for checking the bank statements and posting and allocating the credit card payments in our PMS system, reconciling credit card transactions, assisting reservations and events department with any billing queries. You will also assist guests with billing queries; ensure that the wholesaler accounts are posted according to the contract and agreed upon rates; keeping up with filing and proper handling of credit card data per PCI.

Solving chargeback queries and credit card disputes are another integral part of the job.

The work hours are “as required” however you usually work from 9am to 5.30 pm, Monday to Friday, keeping a good work-personal life balance. Sometimes you need to work more flexible hours during month end , or when an AR team member is on holiday and there is no cover.
