ABOUT THE JOB
To be a strategic partner to the CFO in establishing a competent finance organisation in Ikano Retail Asia, so as to support the growth of IKEA businesses. This function is the accounts payable/receivable roles.
YOUR ASSIGNMENT Your tasks will include:
· Prepare payments to vendors and obtain approvals from the authorized signatories
· Post all payments into Navision immediately after payment being made
· Prepare and review Creditor reconciliation
· Check Giro payments in bank statement and post them in Navision
· Import travel claims submitted in the travel expense management system (TEMS) to Navision and process the reimbursements to co-workers
· Check petty cash claims submitted by co-workers and post them to Navision after approval by Accounting Manager
· Take custody of Finance petty cash and reimburse petty cash claims to co-workers
· Liaise with vendors on payment related enquires
· Liaise with banks for any banking issues related to payment
· Ensure the daily sales and collection reconciliation are done accurately and timely by each Store BN
· Aging Report and Collection Coordination
· Prepare Invoices in respect of Inter-co Transaction, Non Store Sales Billing & etc
· Gift Card (EGRC), block cancelled cards and report reconciliation
· Family Voucher, allocation of voucher # in Navision
· Accounting schedule in respect of Sales and Collection
· Ensure the month end Accounts Receivable closing is complete on a timely and accurate basis in accordance with established closing calendar
· Support and provide training to Store BN on Daily Sales and Collection Reconciliation
· Bank Reconciliation
· Perform other duties as required that can reasonably be expected of such a position. YOUR PROFILE Your knowledge, skills and experience include:
· Possess an accounting diploma/partially completion of degree course with a minimum of 1 to 3 years working experience on Accounts Payable/Receivable roles
· Good command of written and spoken English
· Good computer literacy
· Ability to work independently in a team and in a multinational environment, with minimal supervision
· Ability to work under pressure
