Business Developer Marketplace UK (Paris)

ManoMano is the first marketplace specialised in DIY and gardening. Winner of the IMC Awards 2014 – awarded start-up of the year. Member of Google Scale Up, the programme by Google for the 10 most innovating start-ups in France.
After 3 rounds of fundraising and excellent results (several tens of millions of euros in turnover in 2015, 60 employees in less than two years), we are currently in a phase of acceleration to become the leader in the distribution of DIY and gardening products on the web in Europe.
Today, we are present in 6 countries: France, Belgium, Spain, Italy, Germany and the UK.

Job Description

As the Business Developer for the UK market you will recruit future UK DIY online-sellers, analyse their range and negotiate the parternships with them.
You have a good knowledge of the B2B sales process in the UK, have with a strong analytical mind-set and good interpersonal skills. You can identify and recruit future partner sellers with strong potential, whose products will fly off the shelves via ManoMano.

Your mission

• Hunting, hunting, hunting – UK sellers with high potential for the UK platform
• Good follow up of sales opportunity
• You benchmark the range of sellers and analyse the potential for our product catalogue
• You overcome each obstacle autonomously and with innovative solutions
• You negotiate and get the best conditions to make the partnership as successful as possible
• Integration and reporting of performances

Your profile

Currently in higher education, a recent graduate (university, school of commerce, Grande Ecole or Ecole d’Ingénieur) or working, you are looking for an exciting job opportunity in Paris. You are passionate about selling and Business Development B2B and the start-up world.
• An excellent level of English (native speaker), both oral and written
• Ideally you have work experience in the UK and/or an excellent cultural understanding of the UK
• A good knowledge of the UK B2B sales processes and sales strategies
• Good knowledge of Excel other Office programmes
• Autonomous, business driven, strong rigour in the workplace
• Ease at negotiation and commercial relations
