Malaria Consortium is recruiting for a Monitoring & Evaluation Intern to join our team in London.

Malaria Consortium seeks an Intern will provide MEAL support to global initiatives such as M&E Community of Practice (CoP) and the Malaria Consortium Learning Agenda. The position holder will work with technical and external relations team members to identify best processes to operationalise key MEAL organisational components. In addition, the position holder will provide administrative and technical assistance to the M&E Leaders to support M&E CoP initiatives as required. She/he will also participate in developing the organization’s expertise in monitoring and evaluation. In addition, the M&E intern will contribute to improvement of approaches and methodologies in M&E, in particular through the support of the global Project and Results Database (PReS), and allied initiatives such as the global indicator library.

The position holder will work closely with the M&E Community of Practice Leaders and Head of External Relations to plan their work and learn on the job. S/he will be responsible for ensuring that tasks are completed on time.

The successful candidate will have:

Degree in public Health or related topic with a sound understanding of principles of M&E and MEAL

Excellent organisation, writing and presentation skills

Sound competency in reviewing, understanding and synthesising data for sharing with wider audiences

Excellent skills in Microsoft Office programmes, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Good minuting skills

Ability to work in team
