Do you get excited b the possibilities of technology and apps? And do you also want go gove back to society in some way?
At Makerble we have created a mobile app on Android which enables charities to track their impact while they are working in remote areas around the world which don't have an internet connection.
We are looking for an Android developer to join our team and continue the work on this mobile app.
The app already exists in the app store on Google Play. You will be doing the following tasks:
- adding new functionality
- debugging
- working with a designer on the user experience

This is a volunteer role with expenses paid.
Desired profile
Preferably studying or graduated from a Computer Science or related degree.
However if you have taught yourself to code or learnt in other ways, we would love to hear from you.

THE ROLES WE HAVE AVAILABLE AT MAKERBLE
(1.) Android Programmer
You will be responsible for working on the Makerble Mobile App which is currently on Google Play. This includes adding new features, fixing bugs and coming up with ideas around how to improve the user experience based on feedback you actively seek from users.
Skills & Experience required:
- you have coded in Android before
- you have at least one example of an app you have worked on either by yourself or in a group (send across the APKs or the listing on Google Play)
- you have worked with APIs
