MISSION STATEMENT
The V.I.E. work in tight collaboration with the logistic operator, local supply chain teams based around the country and the sales and marketing departments. The V.I.E. is also the interlocutor of MHMX for supply coordination with France and Argentina. He oversees the safety stock management for goods and point of sales material (POSM) sold on the Mexican soil. The main goal is to prepare sales forecast in line with sales team projections, the financial budget of each Houses and the timing given by Marketing.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
A) Demand planning:
>  Sales forecast updates and consolidation
>  APO's monthly update for both channels: Mexico Domestic (internal market) and Mexico Direct (Borders)
>  Ensure the veracity of the numbers updated in APO (actuals, stocks, transit, manual forecast)
>  Manage the expedition manually (without APO) for Argentinian wines
>  Succeed a shipping plan for each Brand in line with the sales forecast accorded during the monthly APO cycle
>  Conduct inventory management to comply with the 4-month safety stock rule of the group
>  Operate stock entry and Purchase order elaboration in SAP B1 software
>  Administrate custom clearance follow-up with the custom broker in Veracruz and Manzanillo
>  Host the monthly meeting with Sales and Marketing departments about stock replenishment
B) Supply Chain & Inventories:
>  Master Data: Update new SKUs in SAP B1 in line with the new one given by the group
>  Follow up of the Promopack and VAP production in House to ensure the local availability on time in full considering the 2-month lead time transit.
>  Supervise back label validation and ensure that each flagship product comply with the local requirements (pictograms, disclaimer, volume unit, importer info etc.)
>  Identify slow mover's SKU and damaged product in the whole inventory.
>  Manage the importation file with all the data shared by the Maison and the custom Broker
>  Share the stock inventory each week to the whole company employees
>  Elaborate a suggested stock transfer between country side warehouses in line with regional sales forecast
>  Advocate the stock repartition between MHMX warehouses around the country for each deployment
C) Controlling:
>  Analyse the stock reconciliation with the Business Controller for each monthly closure
>  Analyse the distribution cost and look for new opportunity to optimize it
