As Junior Strategic Purchaser, you participate to projects aiming at improving the purchasing process, as you are responsible for developing and sharing reliable and efficient reporting tools that will support our continuous improvement approach, both in the processes and in the organization. You regularly follow-up and analyze the status of our spending per purchasing category by monitoring actual versus budget, in order to properly apply the purchasing strategy. You propose tactical actions to optimize the management of our supplier portfolio.
You design and manage a KPI dashboard to measure and boost the performance of our internal processes and of our suppliers. You identify the needs of the team and act as key user towards IT for the pertinent applications development.
Thanks to your network and regular contacts with BVLGARI and LVMH colleagues, you are aware of new regulations (legal, ethical, environmental) and guidelines applicable to our industry. You monitor and ensure a full compliance of the supplier portfolio to these standards.
To secure our business, you identify the risk on our productive capacities by the suppliers and propose relevant backups and solutions. Driven by the needs of the Supply team, you lead the bidding phase and the implementation of the chosen solution (contracts, industrialization follow-up with development).
 
Product Development
 
You benchmark and scout the market in order to challenge and optimize the existing purchasing conditions in terms of cost and service level aiming at increasing our competitiveness and profitability. In your negotiation, you easily deal with both tactical opportunities and long-term strategic goal.
You monitor the evolution of raw materials, labor costs and processes to anticipate and manage potential price increase.
 
Curious and attentive to internal needs, you support the development team in sourcing and referencing new suppliers. You also ensure a transmission with local Sales & Marketing teams for the development of adhoc products (provide a suppliers green-list, support the process for new supplier selection).

Desired profile

Expérience requise : Minimum 5 ans
Holder of a Master degree in Purchasing or Supply Chain, you have a minimum of 1-3 years' experience in Strategic Purchasing. You have strong knowledge of purchaising processes and contract management; and are exposed to supply chain and production processes and system. Fluent in French and English, you have excellent command in Excel (macros and VBA ideally) and SAP.
 
Result-oriented, you have strong data-crunching and analytical skills. Proactive with an entrepreneurial mindset, you are operational excellence focused and improve the processes by implementing new tools. Being strongly customer focused with a high product sensitivity, you are dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of your internal clients in quality and time. Rigorous, you are action and result oriented and are able to multitask effectively. Team oriented, you are seen as a truthful person, able to deliver. Your communication and negotiation skills ensure excellent relationships with your team and suppliers.
