MISSION STATEMENT
We are looking for a Finance / Accountant Intern to support the Fendi UK Finance team: keeping records in line with expectations while reporting and doing analysis.
MAIN RESPONISBILITIES
- Ensuring all invoices are authorised by the applicable head of departments ready for payment.
- Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices
- Ensure that supplier statement reconciliation's are done on a periodic basis
- Download reports from Retail pro to facilitate with both stock and sales controls
- Identify and record invoices which may require prepayment, and accrual in the management accounts.
- Maintain and control all cash advances
- Ensure internal control policies are applied
- Assist with the monthly reporting, KPI and reporting analysis and accuracy of monthly reports sent from other Departments

Desired profile

Experience required : Beginner
 
First strong experience in Accounting and/or Finance role preferably within an international environment (fashion and luxury area will be a plus)
This Job will require an advanced level on retail pro/SAP or similar stock control systems and Excel
Good communication skills, able to meet the deadlines, ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
